People will say: What is your NIF?<\/p>\n<p>So, remember that: NIF, N\u00famero de Identifica\u00e7\u00e3o Fiscal and N\u00famero de Contribuinte are the same thing. Its the tax identification number (in english).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where to get the NIF?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can go to the place called &#8220;Finan\u00e7as&#8221;. To put it simply, Finan\u00e7as is like a tax collection service.<\/p>\n<p>If you can&#8217;t go in person, you can give someone a power of attorney.
